Blogs
The popularity of blogging has taken off like wildfire, and if you have a blog of your own or are thinking of starting one this is an excellent way to promote the program.
There are many different methods of promoting the program throughout your blog such as simple text links, graphics, reviews, testimonials etc.
If you don't have a blog of your own and are interested in getting started, check out www.blogspot.com. They provide free blog software and you can get started just minutes from now. You can also visit www.wordpress.com if you'd like to integrate a blog directly onto your own site.
Here are some tips for promoting effectively with a blog...
1) Know your audience. What sort of people are coming to your blog? Why are they there, and what are they searching for? Make sure to define your target audience and figure out what that target audience wants to read about.
2) Focus on promoting a select number of programs. If you're throwing out product recommendations left, right and center, your visitors will begin to see your blog for what it is. Rather than passively promoting a huge list of programs all at once, you'll be much better off to promote just a select few programs very aggressively. This will allow you to maintain the trust of your readers and keep them coming back for more.
3) Offer free downloadable reports and other gifts. Treat your readers well, and they'll keep coming back. You can offer my free PDF reports, sample chapters and video articles as a way of keeping your readers interested.
4) Use articles. It can often be tough to come up with fresh, interesting content for your readers on a consistent basis, and this is where the article database can come in handy. You'll find articles on training, nutrition, supplementation, injuries and motivation to use along with your own unique posts.
5) Use both audio AND text for your posts. Audio is much more "fun" to listen to as opposed to reading through text. You don't have to create a blog exclusively using audio, but it's definitely a good idea to include audio posts as well. Check out www.hipcast.com for an easy way to make blog posts using audio.
6) Sprinkle product images throughout your posts. You can find a huge gallery of different product images here. If you're talking about a specific item from one of my products, sprinkle in an image to add more perceived value.
7) Be controversial. Say what's on your mind. Give both positive AND negative reviews on your blog. You'll get way more visitors and return readers if you're making some controversial posts.
